Peace River RCMP arrest vehicle theft suspects at Wilderness Park

Peace River RCMP arrested a pair of suspects Thursday only minutes after a vehicle theft.

At around 8:56 p.m. on March 26, Mounties responded to a call of a vehicle theft, locating the vehicle 15 minutes later at Wilderness Park.

The driver and passenger, both residents of Peace River, have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, driving while prohibited, and theft under $5000.

The suspects were brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River today.
