High Prairie resident wins $100,000 from Western Max lottery

A High Prairie resident has won $100,000 from Western Max’s December 23 prize draw.

Trestyn Brown-L’Hirondelle says he couldn’t believe his eyes when he scanned the ticket on the Lotto Spot app and saw he matched six out of seven main draw numbers.

The High Prairie local says he plans to use his winnings to pay off his mortgage and purchase gifts for his parents.

Brown-L’Hirondelle plans to also use his winnings to purchase a new dishwasher for his mom, and a gift for his dad as well.

He purchased his winning ticket from the Circle K at 5219 48th Street in High Prairie.
