Apr 2, 2026 | 8:00 AM

The City of Grande Prairie will once again host its Easter Eggstravaganza event on Saturday, Apr. 4.

At this time, a few spots are still available for $8 per child, with accompanying adults getting in for free.

Taking place at Heritage Village from 9 a.m. till 4:30 p.m., kids can partake in an egg hunt, cookie decorating, Easter crafts, a bunny toss, a scavenger hunt, and take their photo with the Easter bunny in 30-minute increments.

Children aged two to ten are also invited to make a submission into an easter colouring contest as part of the event, with prizes from Eastlink centre.

Colouring sheets can be submitted until Tuesday, Apr. 7, either by dropping them off at the Grande Prairie Museum or scanning and submitting it to the City’s email; events@cityofgp.com.

Winners from three age categories will then be randomly drawn on Wednesday, Apr. 8.

The City reminds residents that Easter Eggstravaganza takes place both indoors and outdoors and encourages people to dress appropriately for the weather.
