Apr 7, 2026 | 10:43 AM

Utility corporation Aquatera has announced the recipients of its annual bottle donation program.

Once a month, one out of 12 non-profit organizations will receive a donation of funds collected by Aquatera and Recycle Plus from bottles donated at the Eco Centre Landfill and local bottle depots.

The first non-profit to receive funding in the 2026/2027 program will be Paizley’s Purses and Bentley’s Backpacks Foundation in May, followed by Grande Prairie and District Grief Support group in June and Grande Prairie Gilas in July.

“At Aquatera, we are committed to growing healthy communities in many ways,” said Sarah Martin, public relations and communications specialist. “The Bottle Donation Program is one way we support our community, local youth, and the environment, while also encouraging recycling and environmental stewardship. It’s a simple initiative that creates a meaningful impact for the organizations and individuals it supports.”
