Hard 8 Indoor Rodeo on this weekend

The Hard 8 Indoor Rodeo is set for Friday, Apr. 17 and Saturday, Apr. 18  at Evergreen Park’s Fosters Pavilion.

Amateur competitors will take part in bull, bronc, and bareback riding, along with barrel racing and junior steer riding.

There is also a Young Stars portion that will feature novice bareback and saddle bronc riding.

Start time will be 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets for the rodeo and the dance Saturday night are available through the Evergreen Park website. 

This year’s event will also support a couple of charities.

Organizers say $2.50 from every ticket sold will go towards one of the groups helping the people in Tumbler Ridge.

The money raised from the 50/50 draw will go to the Special Olympics.

Tickets for the 50/50 can also be purchased online.
