Three prolific offenders in the Grande Prairie area have been arrested in less than a week.

Mounties with the Clairmont detachment say on Wednesday, Apr. 15, they located a vehicle that was reported stolen earlier in the day on a back road in the County of Grande Prairie.

Officers kept surveillance of the vehicle, travelling into the City of Grande Prairie when the occupants left it on a residential street.

Police and police dogs arrested two people:

  • 47-year-old James Patrick Gosse was arrested for possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and failing to comply with a release order.
  • 45-year-old Danielle Marie Myler was charged with possession of property obtained by crimes over $5,000.

Gosse was remanded into custody after being taken before a Justice of the Peace; Myler was released.

On Thursday, officers arrested another known suspect, 50-year-old Grande Prairie resident Gordon Rawlyk, driving a stolen vehicle. RCMP in Clairmont observed Rawlyk on 84 Ave in the city and watched him pull into a liquor store parking lot.

Officers arrested both occupants in the vehicle. Rawlyk was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and remanded into custody after meeting with a justice of the peace. The passenger was released without any charges.

Rawlyk and Gosse are in Grande Prairie court on Monday, April 20, 2026. Myler is scheduled to appear at the Grande Prairie Court of Justice on July 22, 2026.
