Goodwill taking part in “Earth Day Clean UP”

Residents may notice Goodwill Employees out cleaning up around their communities on Earth Day (Wednesday, Apr. 22).

Starting at 11 a.m., 1,200 employees province-wide will take part in “Earth Day Clean UP,” in an effort to make “our communities a cleaner place to live.”

To celebrate Earth Day, Goodwill also partnered with Call2Recycle and had 14 smart containers installed at 14 retailers across the province on Monday, Apr. 20.

Goodwill will also be participating in the City of Grande Prairie’s Earth Day event set for Saturday, Apr. 25, “showcasing all of the sustainability initiatives happening at Goodwill.”
