TAMPA — The Montreal Canadiens were held to only nine shots, but scored twice to defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in Game 7 of their first-round, best-of-seven NHL playoff series. The Canadiens advance to Round 2 and will face the Buffalo Sabres, starting Wednesday.
