211 Alberta now main access point for mental health, addictions services
The Government of Alberta says reaching out to 211 is now the main access point for mental health and addiction services in the province.
It explains that by making 211 the go-to, it is simplifying access.
211 can either be called or texted, plus one can visit ab.211.ca, all of which are available 24 hours a day.
“With 211 Alberta as the number to call for mental health and addiction support in our province, we’re reducing barriers and putting people at the centre,” says Patricia Skagen-Emokpae, director, 211 Alberta.
