Snow clearing

The City of Grande Prairie is praising its snow removal crews.

This winter season crews removed about 311,000 cubic meters of snow, enough to fill the competition pool at Eastlink Centre over 70 times.

Additionally, during the season, crews completed four-and-a-half residential clearing cycles, maintained approximately 400 km of city roads, and issued 5,311 residential clearing text notifications.

With winter wrapping up, crews are now focusing on spring work, like pothole repairs and street sweeping.
