City hosting annual Stompede Breakfast at Bonnetts
A staple Grande Prairie event returns this month to kick off the 2026 GP Stompede.
The City will be hosting its annual pancake breakfast event to offer attendees a hot, free breakfast and the chance to connect with members of city council before the dust flies.
“The Stompede is a special time in Grande Prairie. It brings our community together and showcases the spirit that makes this region what it is,” said Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton. “Council looks forward to hosting our annual Stompede breakfast to connect with our residents and visitors as we celebrate the energy and momentum it brings to Grande Prairie.”
The breakfast is happening May 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Bonnetts Energy Centre; the Stompede is May 27 to 31 out at Evergreen Park.
