Temporary closure at Central Peace Health Complex emergency department

Alberta Health Services says there will be a temporary closure at the Central Peace Health Complex emergency department from 6 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, May 13) until 7 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, May 14). 

AHS says this is because of “an unexpected shortage of clinical operations personnel and an inability to secure temporary coverage.”

Nurses are still on site in acute care. 

People with medical emergencies can still call 911.
