Cause of brush fire in Taylor Estates area under investigation

County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Services says the cause of a brush fire that stated late Friday afternoon (May 15) is under investigation.

Firefighters were called out around 5 p.m to a blaze that was located south of Taylor Estates and north of Bear Creek.

Two helicopters, Alberta Wildfire personnel, and fire crews from the Dunes, Bezanson, and Clairmont stations were called in. The helicopters were used for help in water bucketing.

The fire is now under control.
