Clairmont RCMP investigating after hit and run on a pedestrian

Clairmont RCMP say a man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a vehicle-pedestrian collision last week.  

It happened on May 8 on Highway 666 between Grovedale and Highway 40. Police were called out just after 9 p.m. that day. 

Mounties say the vehicle did not stay at the scene. 

RCMP are asking for the public’s help in the investigation. 

Police say in a release that any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of Highway 666, between Highway 40 and Grovedale, on May 8, 2026, after 9 p.m., is asked to please come forward.
