County of Grande Prairie begins road work on Rr 53

The County of Grande Prairie kicks off a major road project along Range Road 53 today.

The work involves a new layer of pavement being added to the road south of Township Road 712, followed by grading, minor spot fixes, and road surface milling.

The county says for the duration of the project, traffic might experience disruptions, and speed will be reduced in the construction zone.
