100th Street under construction

Traffic will be limited to two lanes on 100 Street near South Bear Creek starting today (Friday, May 22).

Wapiti Gravel crews will be conducting utility work for Aquatera, with the project expected to wrap up in two weeks (Friday, June 5).

During the project, the southbound lanes of 100 Street near 68 Ave will be closed, but two-way traffic will be maintained using northbound lanes; Transit route 5 may also experience disruptions during construction.

Work is expected to take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and a 30km speed limit will be in effect around the intersection.

Crews are expected to be out today and Saturday, setting up barriers and preparing the site before they break ground on Monday, May 25.
