Mobile mammography unit making stops in Manning and Paddle Prairie Métis Settlement

Women at risk of developing breast cancer in Manning and Paddle Prairie Métis Settlement will have local access to mammography services next week.

Primary Care Alberta says their Screen Test program to detect breast cancer will be at the Communiplex parking lot in Paddle Prairie on June 2 and at the Manning Community Health Centre June 3, 5, and 6.

Screen Test is dedicated to improving access to cancer screening for women in Alberta communities where mammography is not readily available.

Appointments need to be booked in advance.
