Grande Prairie Pride Society re-paints rainbow crosswalk to kickoff Pride Month festivities

Grande Prairie Pride Society conducted their annual painting project on June 1, as part of Pride Month.

GPPS volunteers gathered to repaint the rainbow crosswalk at the intersection of 103 Avenue and 98 Street near Grande Prairie City Hall while also celebrating 10 years of Pride in Grande Prairie.

The paint was purchased thanks to donations from community members.

GPPS has more pride events planned throughout June, including the annual Pride Family Carnival and the Party in White.
