Beaverlodge Hospital ED without a physician twice over 36-hour period

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital Emergency Department will have two 12-hour disruptions this week.

No physician will be ED this evening (Tuesday, June 16) starting at 8 p.m. until tomorrow at 8 a.m. (Wednesday June 17), and then again on Wednesday, starting at 8 p.m. until 8 a.m. Thursday, June 18.

During that time, nursing staff will remain on site for urgent triage, assessments and referrals.

Residents are also reminded that the Virtual Emergency Physician program is being piloted at the Beaverlodge Hospital and may be available for all or parts of this advisory.
