Suspect in High Prairie robbery arrested, facing more charges

High Prairie RCMP say they have arrested a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery. 

Mounties say 30-year-old Jericho Grey was arrested on June 15. 

He was wanted in connection with an armed robbery June 4 and a possession of stolen property complaint from June 5, both in High Prairie. 

High Prairie RCMP, the Western Alberta Crime Reduction Unit, the Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Services were all called in when a suspect was located. 

The suspect was taken in after resisting arrest, and a police officer was assaulted. 

Grey is facing new charges that include assaulting a police officer, resisting a police officer, and firearms charges. 

He is due in High Prairie court June 22.
