PWPSD announce new principals for 2026-2027 school year

The Peace Wapiti Public School Division has announced two new full-time principals at their Colony Schools and Wembley Elementary School.

Rob Twelvetree will be assuming the principal role permanently at the Colony schools after serving in the role temporarily this past year.

Twelvetree says he is looking forward to continuing to strengthen his relationships with the students, staff, and families.

Mandy Funk will be taking over as principal for Wembley Elementary School after serving on PWPSD’s Inclusive Education Learning Coach team for 8 years.

Funk says her goal is to deeply connect with and support her students, staff, and families of the school.

Both principals will step into their new official roles in September for the 2026-2027 school year.
