Village of Berwyn council accepts councilor resignation

A seat on the Village of Berwyn council is now vacant.

County council accepted the resignation of Patrick O’Brien during their meeting June 17.

O’Brien was elected to his role during the October 2025 municipal election, and the village is expressing its appreciation for his service and contributions to the community.

There is currently no word on when the vacant councilor seat will be filled.
