Brief: Poilievre shuffles shadow cabinet

Canadian Press — Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre has shuffled critic roles in the Conservative caucus.

Among the changes is Ontario MP Michael Chong taking over as finance critic from B.C. MP Aaron Gunn.

Gunn will, in turn, take over the ethics and government accountability critic role from Ontario MP Michael Barrett, who moves over to veterans affairs.

Pattison Media — Ponoka-Didsbury MP Blaine Calkins continues as Shadow Minister for Hunting, Fishing and Conservation, a position he has held since 2022.
