Fire advisories lifted for City and County of Grande Prairie June 30
Fire advisories for the City and County of Grande Prairie have been lifted.
Effective 9:00 a.m. June 30, the City lifted their advisory following recent rain and cooler temperatures lowering the wildfire danger in the area to low.
The County of Grande Prairie also lifted their advisory June 30, including for Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Wembley.
The change aligns with Alberta Wildfire’s decision to lift all restrictions in the Grande Prairie Forest Area.
