Glass wins Day 5 at Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby
The racetrack was in pristine condition Tuesday (July 7) night at the Calgary Stampede grounds and a scorching 25 degrees at the Rangeland Derby’s fifth running of the World Professional Chuckwagon Association.
At the end of the night, it was Jason Glass, a two-time Rangeland Derby champion, who crossed the finish line the fastest with a time of 1:10.45.
Coming in second on the night was Grande Prairie native Chanse Vigen, for the fourth time in five days.
Despite Glass’ first place finish, Jamie Laboucane still holds the top spot atop the aggregate standings with a five day combined time of 6:02.38. Vigen is narrowly trailing Laboucane by just 0.35 of a second behind in the second spot. Rae Croteau Jr. sits in third and Glass is fourth.
