No on-site physcian at Beaverlodge ED three times this week

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital emergency department will be without an on-site physician multiple times next week.

Due to a clinical personnel shortage and an inability to secure temporary coverage, there will be no on-site physician from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, and overnight from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, and Thursday, July 17.

Patients are still asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency, as EMS will remain available to reroute callers to surrounding facilities.

Nursing staff will remain on-site in the emergency department providing urgent triage and assessments, and virtual emergency physician coverage may be available for all or part of this service advisory.
