Fables & Faeries Renaissance Faire set for Sunday at GPPL

The Grande Prairie Public Library is hosting an event that harkens back to medieval times this weekend. 

The library is hosting its second annual Fables & Faeries Renaissance Faire this weekend. 

It will go from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday. 

A news release from the library says there will be hobby horse jousting, costume contests, riddle hunts, and crafts. 

“This year, we’re very excited to announce that entertainers Angus and Dolina shall take part in the festivities by teaching Scottish ceilidh dancing to visitors,” says that same release. 

Local vendors will be selling their wares at a market in Teresa Sargent Hall.
