Mission Estates storm rehabilitation project to start July 20

City Hall says work on the Mission Estates storm rehabilitation project starts today (Monday, July 20). 

The city says the work will start “in the park and slope area east of 102 Street before progressing into 75A Avenue and the surrounding roadway.” 

The city says the work will include “replacing aging storm infrastructure, completing related utility and road work and building a new asphalt trail connection between 75A Avenue and the Muskoseepi Park trail system.” 

The trail that is already there will stay open, although there may be some changes or detours. 

The city says this should be done sometime in October, depending on the weather. The new trail will be finished towards the end of the work.
