Beaverlodge Hospital ED without a doctor for 24 hours

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital Emergency Department will be disrupted for 24 hours starting this evening (Tuesday, July 21).

Starting at 8 p.m., the ED will be without an on-site physician until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22; however, nursing staff will remain on site for urgent triage, assessments and referrals.

Anyone with an emergency during this disruption can still call 911 as they will be rerouted to neighbouring facilities.

Another twelve-hour disruption is planned to go into effect Thursday night (Thursday, July 23).
