Valleyview Health Centre ED without a doctor for 24 hours July 27-28

The Valleyview Health Centre Emergency Department will be without an on-site physician for 24 hours Monday, July 27.

Due to an inability to secure physician coverage, there will be no on-site physician from 7:00 a.m. Monday until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Nursing staff will remain on-site in the Emergency Department, providing urgent triage and assessments and referrals for patients to alternate Emergency Departments in neighbouring communities.

If more coverage is found, the disruption may be cancelled.
