Search underway in Waterton Lakes National Park for missing 81-year-old man
A search is underway in Waterton Lakes National Park for an 81-year-old man who hasn’t been seen or heard from since last Sunday, July 19.
Bob Toothill, a resident of Golden, B.C., had said he was planning to hike Section A of the Great Divide Trail, eventually to arrive in Coleman, in the Crowsnest Pass, on July 22.
Toothill’s last known location was the Rowe Lakes Trail on July 19.
Parks Canada, on social media Sunday, posted its staff is concentrating search efforts in the western portion of the park, while Southwest Alberta Regional Search & Rescue are focusing on areas outside of the boundaries.
