Stage set for 2026 Battle of the Foothills championships

The top four for the 2026 Battle of the Foothills Chuckwagon championships have been decided.

Saturday, July 25, ended with Jason Glass solidifying his position in the top spot in the overall aggregate standings with a three-day combined time of 3:43.68, followed by Chance Bensmiller with a three-day total of 3:45.30, Chad Fike with 3:45.71, and Luke Tournier with 3:46.29.

It was an impressive accomplishment for Fike, who began the evening 16th in the overall aggregate.

On Saturday, Fike captured the fastest time of the night with a run of 1:13.64, nearly a full second faster than Dayton Sutherland, who finished second, with Dallas Dyck, Tournier, and Jason Glass rounding out the top five of the night.

Grande Prairie’s own Chanse Vigen placed 33rd in Saturday’s competition and 35th in the overall aggregate, one spot removed from last place.

The top four drivers will compete in the championship finals, Sunday, July 26, at 4:00 p.m. MT.
