Beaverlodge ED without physician coverage for combined 96 hours July 29-Aug.3

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital emergency department will be without an on-site physician multiple times this week.

Due to a clinical personnel shortage and an inability to secure temporary coverage, there will be no on-site physician for a combined 96 hours.

  • 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29,
  • 8:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1
  • 8:00 a.m. Sunday, August 2, to 8:00 a.m. Monday, August 3.

Patients are still asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency, as EMS will remain available to reroute callers to surrounding facilities.

Nursing staff will remain on-site in the Emergency Department providing urgent triage and assessments, and Virtual Emergency Physician coverage may be available for all or part of this service advisory.
