Fairview Council puts out survey on lowering in-town speed limit

Roads in the Town of Fairview may be getting a little slower.

Town Council is asking Fairview residents for their input on a proposed maximum speed limit of 40km/h throughout the community through a two-question survey.

The short survey can be accessed online by clicking here or found on paper in the Talk of the Town newsletter, and hand deliver the questionnaire to Fairview’s Town Office located at 101, 10209 – 109 Street.

Responses are being gathered until August 31, 2026. Council will use the results of the survey in its decision to either keep the current speed limits or lower them.
