New Village of Berwyn CAO joins Village staff

The Village of Berwyn is welcoming its new CAO.

Michael Geohegan is taking over from Jatin Saini, whose final day with the Village was Friday, July 17.

“I look forward to getting to know council, staff, residents, and local businesses while working together to build on the village’s strengths,” says Geohegan. “My focus is on delivering results that support investment, create opportunities, and help Berwyn continue to grow and thrive.”

Geohegan has experience as Chief of Staff for a BC Cabinet Minister, a CEO for a green energy startup, and as a CAO and economic development officer.

“Council is pleased to welcome Michael to the Village of Berwyn,” said Mayor Nicole Johnson. “His diverse background in leadership, economic development, and municipal administration will be a tremendous asset to our community. We look forward to working together as we continue building on the opportunities ahead and wish him every success in his new role.”

Geohegan is currently working remotely while preparing to move to Berwyn from Campbell River, BC.
