Grande Prairie Airshow delays show due to weather

Due to weather conditions, the Grande Prairie Regional Airshow has adjusted the start times for today’s (Sunday, August 2) performance schedule.

Ground demonstrations will now begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by aerial performances at 1:30 p.m.

The event site will still open as planned, with ground activities and shuttle bus service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the displays, exhibits, vendors, and other attractions before the flying program begins.

Organizers say in a news release they appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as they prioritize the safety of performers, volunteers, and spectators and look forward to welcoming everyone for an exciting afternoon of aviation entertainment.
