Sidewalk repairs in the south end of Grande Prairie to start this week

City Hall says repairs on some sidewalks in the south end of Grande Prairie will start this week. 

All 407 locations to be fixed are located south of 84 Avenue. 

The city says in a news release that raised sections will be ground or sawed down. 

The same release says some sidewalk closures will be needed when the work is being done. 

Traffic delays are not expected, but some temporary traffic controls may be needed in some areas. 

The city says that the work will last until mid-November, depending on the weather.
