County crews conducting main replacement work in Hythe

The County of Grande Prairie is set to begin sanitary main replacement work in the Hamlet of Hythe this week.

Construction will take place along 103rd Street, 101st Avenue, and 105th Street from now until mid-October.

While the work is taking place, motorists can expect periodic road closures, parking restrictions, and detours.

The county is asking all motorists and pedestrians to obey the posted signage and flag persons.

The county says the main replacement is part of its investment in maintaining and improving essential underground infrastructure to ensure reliable service for residents.
