Updates on locals on the rodeo circuit includes some wins

Two Grande Prairie competitors won their events at the High Prairie Elks Rodeo. 

Jennifer Neudorf took first in barrel racing with a time of 17.38 seconds. 

An 86 point ride gave Auzyn Corr first-place money in the bull riding. 

Corr also had a fourth place finish at the North Peace Stampede. 

Grimshaw’s Denver Leitch also had a fourth place finish in bareback riding at his hometown rodeo, tied for first in Coronation, and was third in High Prairie. 

Grande Prairie’s Ryder Topolinski won the junior steer riding at the rodeo in Coronation. 

Fort St. John’s Stephen Culling was sixth in steer wrestling in High Prairie. 

Sexsmith’s Lee Rombough was sixth in tie-down roping in Grimshaw. 

Neudorf was fifth in barrels at the Strathmore Stampede. 

The La Crete Field of Dreams rodeo continues today (Wednesday) with the second and final main performance at 6:30 p.m. 

The rodeo at the Dawson Creek Exhibition will start on Friday, August 7.
