Grande Prairie golfer at national tournament

UPDATE August 7: Masson wound up tied for 16th on the men’s side at the 2026 Canadian All Abilities Championship. 

He had a final-round score of 84 on Friday, August 7, giving him a three-round total of 255. 

Ontario golfers won the men’s and women’s titles.

A Grande Prairie golfer is among the 66 players taking part in the 2026 Canadian All Abilities Championship.  

It is being played at the Hylands Golf Club in Gloucester, Ontario. 

Kelly Masson opened the three-round tournament with a 10-over 82 on Wednesday.  

Masson is tied for 14th place on the men’s side. 

The tournament will continue through Friday.
