UPDATE: Police presence on 60 Avenue over says Grande Prairie RCMP

UPDATE: Grande Prairie RCMP say the incident that led to a large police presence on 60 Avenue is over and the road is open again.

No other details were provided.

Grande Prairie RCMP sent out the following news release on Thursday evening, August 6.

Grande Prairie RCMP is advising that there will be a large police presence on 60 Avenue as they respond to a complaint. Currently, 60 Avenue is not passable.

 Please avoid the area and follow all police directions. An update will be sent when the scene is clear.
