Arctic Winter Games returning to Fairbanks in 2028

Fairbanks, Alaska, will host the 2028 Arctic Winter Games. 

The Arctic Winter Games International Committee says this will put the event back on a two-year cycle after it had decided in April to hold the games every three years. 

Fairbanks has acted as the host three times before, most recently in 2014. 

Organizers say dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
