County Sportsplex to host Pre Season Cup tournament this weekend

A dozen teams will be taking part in the 2026 Pre Season Cup Draft Hockey Tournament this weekend at the County Sportsplex. 

There are U11, U13, and U15 divisions, with four teams in each. 

The games start at 4:30 p.m. Friday,  9 a.m. Saturday, and will continue into the evening. 

The playoff games will start at 9 a.m. on Sunday. 

The U11 final will start at noon on Sunday, with the U13 final starting at 1 p.m. and the U15 final getting going at 2:45 p.m. 

Organizers say in a social media post that this tournament is “all about having fun, making new friends, and giving players from across the Peace Country a chance to play together before the season starts.”
