Crocus Hill Stampede, other local sports this weekend

The Ranch Rodeo is at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.

There is also a pancake breakfast Saturday from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the rodeo grounds.

There is a farmer’s market from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Valleyview Ag. Grounds.

Wheatbelt Baseball League

The Rycroft Rage beat the Stampedes 5-3 last night in Peace River in Game 2 of the Wheatbelt Baseball League final.

The Rage now lead the best-of-five series 2-0.

Game 3 will be played in Rycroft on Monday.

Auto Racing

The Hythe Motor Speedway will host its Fan Appreciation Weekend and Tribute to Local Heroes Saturday and Sunday.

Racing starts at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Mini sprints start at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Horse Racing

There will be horse racing Saturday and Sunday at Evergreen Park.

Post time will be 1:15 p.m. both days.

Sunday will be Family Fun Day.

Rugby

The Sirens women’s rugby team takes on the Clan in a playoff game Saturday in Edmonton.

The Centaurs’ men’s team has a bye this weekend, the last weekend of the regular season on the men’s side.
