Pocket library sponsor opportunity available
Local companies have the opportunity to attach their name to a new local library service.
The Grande Prairie Public Library has plans to place a pocket library, described as “a modern, self-serve library branch,” in the Eastlink Centre and is seeking a founding and naming rights sponsor.
GPPL director Hailey McCullough says “pop-up libraries are becoming increasingly popular,” and with it located in the Eastlink Centre, it would be used by a large number of residents and would be a great opportunity for a local company to be “widely seen.”
McCullough adds that from a community standpoint, this is a much-needed library service, as “Grande Prairie is growing rapidly, and we need to make sure core community services, like the library, are growing with it.”
