Mobile mammography unit visits Hythe

Alberta Health Services Screen Test program is to visit the community of Hythe this week and next.

The mobile mammography unit will be parked at the Hythe Legion on Aug. 29, 31, and Sept. 1 and 2.

The breast cancer screenings are free for eligible individuals, but appointments need to be made in advance. They can be booked by calling 1-800-667-0604 or online by clicking here.

Women aged 45-74 are most at risk of developing breast cancer and screenings through mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early, when treatment is more effective.
