Northern Law rolling out free legal counselling intiative

As part of a new initiative, Northern Law is offering free legal consultations on immigration, family and criminal matters.

Northern Law says legal issues can feel overwhelming, and this initiative was designed to make legal aid more accessible.

Residents can now meet with a lawyer free of charge to learn their options and leave with a practical next step, whether it’s taking action, gathering more information, or being referred to another service.

Northern Law does note that all meetings are confidential, but taking part in this service does not guarantee ongoing legal representation
