High Prairie RCMP still looking for shooting suspect

High Prairie RCMP say they are still looking for the suspect in a March shooting.

Report at the time said the shooting took place just before 4 p.m. on March 31 near the High Prairie Courthouse, with the victim having “serious but non-life-threatening injuries.”

Mounties now say the victim was a young male.

RCMP have a photo of the suspect, but have been unable to identify him.

Police say the public should not approach this suspect if they see him, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
