RCMP say two people dead after plane crash near mountain in southern Alberta

Mounties in Alberta say two people died in a plane crash near a mountain in Kananaskis Country.

RCMP say they got a call for the crash near Mount McDougall, located southwest of Calgary, at around 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Police say two people who were aboard the plane died at the scene.

They were the only occupants of the aircraft.

RCMP say their bodies had not been recovered as of Sunday morning.

Police say the Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating.
