Charles Spencer, St. Joe’s & Eastlink Centre all under hold and secure

Charles Spencer and St. Joe’s High Schools are under a hold and secure order, as an “emergency situation” is taking place outside the schools.

RCMP say a heavy police presence has been set up at St. Joe’s as they investigate a potential threat

In an email to parents and guardians, the high school says classes are still taking place as normal, but they are asking youth not to leave the school.

They add that they are working with the RCMP and ask parents and guardians to avoid the area.
